Food producers, particularly growers, have been hard-hit as they have had to compete on price for hard-to-find pickers and farm hands. Truckers have struggled to find places to eat, shower or sleep. Yet retailers haven’t raised prices because shoppers are out of work. It’s chaos.
But having visibility into shipments, and preventing them from spoilage, fraud, or missteps can keep farmers (and truckers) from incurring gut-punch costs.
